in crafting this non-archival ephemera,
i transform everyday office and school supplies
into conduits for meaningful contemplation.
by methodically transcribing the well-crafted words
of storytellers
whose
worldviews resonate with my own,
i transmute their meanings through my own body
and elevate them into temporarily sacred objects
which help me remember what makes sense
while navigating a world that often doesn’t.
these pieces are born from a compulsive practice,
meant to be examined and
read with care,
handled and returned to repeatedly.
layered meanings emerge with long-term engagement.
this curated collection represents my thesis projectat pnca
towards the completion of a bfa
in printmaking
(but realistically & not-so-secretly, in book arts).
